Dancing Fish


Music & Movement Class

Fridays at 9:30 AM or 10:30 AM: Music Class will resume the last Friday in September.

Ages 1 to 5 years

Come spend time with your children in our exciting, musically rich environment that encourages your child to explore the joys of music. Join infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grown-ups who love them in the fun of moving, singing, and playing instruments.

Dog Reading


Books and Barks

Tuesdays in October between 3:30 and 5:00 PM
Ages 6 years and up

Come to the library to read to a Nationally Certified Therapy dog and his/her owner. Children sign-up for a twenty minute reading time slot for 4 sessions. Make a reading selection and practice reading it at home. This program is designed for all readers to help build fluency in a fun environment.

Theater Fish


Reader’s Theater

Mondays at 6 PM
Ages 7 to 12 years

Children gather once a month at the library. Children receive parts in short plays and skits geared towards beginning and emergent readers. Children will practice reading their lines from 6 to 6:40 PM. At 6:45 PM, children will perform.

Learn about science in a fun hands-on environment with science enthusiast Kari Hernandez

Speak Out Loud

Ages 6 years and up

Children prepare a 3-5 minute presentation based on the theme for the month. We will have audio visual equipment available: a microphone, projector, laptop, and document reader.

LEGO Builders

Wednesdays at 6 PM
Ages 6 years and up

Come to the library for one hour of theme related building. LEGOs are provided and stay at the library. Facilitated by Miss Blaine.

Wednesdays at 5:30 for ages 2 to 5 years & 6:30 for ages 6 to 10 years

School Fish


Home School Days

Friday, September 15 at 11 AM – Children ages 6 and up will build pencil cases with the Home Depot at the library in the large meeting room. Children ages 2 and 5 will participate in a construction themed story time in the library.

Friday, October 6 at 11:30 AM – For children ages 6 and up. Must be able to write basic sentences. Pack a lunch. This is a two hour class. We will take a short break to eat lunch. No younger siblings will be allowed in the room during the workshop.

Friday, November 3 at 11:30 AM – Harvest craft day: Children of all ages create harvest themed art and crafts.
