Join Our Star Party

Tuesday, September 30 at 7:45 pm – Learn how to use the library’s telescopes first hand from the Rockford Amateur Astronomers, led by Keith Short and then move outside to take a look at the night skies. Saturn, at its nearest approach to Earth for the year this month, should be visible when it rises around 7:30 pm. The moon will also be in its first quarter.

All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Register for the Star Party – Registration is required.
