Directions to the Library
To 755 East State Street, Cherry Valley, IL 61016

FROM THE WEST:

Take Bypass 20 east until the sign that indicates the Belvidere exit. *
OR
Take Harrison Ave., (an east-west street) east toward Belvidere. Depending upon where you turn onto Harrison, you will pass the north-south street intersections of Alpine, Mulford, and Perryville. After you proceed east past Perryville, on the south side of the Cherry Vale Mall, you will drive under the I 39/90 overpass.

*Shortly after that is a stoplight at Harrison and Mill Road. Turn right (south) on Mill Road and proceed for 1 block to the entrance of the village. At the stop sign, turn left (east) on E. State Street and cross the Kishwaukee River. You come into the commercial district of the Village of Cherry Valley. Drive another 4 ½ blocks, through the downtown area, until the street curves a little past the Cherry Valley Garden Center. The library is on the right, back in the woods, marked by a prominent electronic signboard.

FROM THE SOUTH:

From any of the east-west main roads (Rotary, Blomberg, Blackhawk,) travel until you reach Perryville Road. Travel north on Perryville until you cross the railroad tracks and intersect with Mill Road. Turn right (east) and travel northeast to the stop sign at E State Street. At the stop sign, turn right (east) onto E. State Street. You come into the commercial district of the Village of Cherry Valley. Drive another 4 ½ blocks, through the downtown area, the street curves a little past the Cherry Valley Garden Center. The library is on the right, back in the woods, marked by a prominent electronic signboard.

FROM THE EAST:

Take Newburg Road west to the stop light at Mill Road. Turn left (south) onto Mill and proceed to the stop light at US Route 20. Continue (south) on Mill Road for 1 block. At the stop sign, turn left (east) on E. State Street and cross the Kishwaukee River. You come into the commercial district of the Village of Cherry Valley. Drive another 4 ½ blocks, through the downtown area, until the street curves a little past the Cherry Valley Garden Center. The library is on the right, back in the woods, marked by a prominent electronic signboard.
OR
If you are close to US Route 20, turn onto it and proceed west. As you see the Cherry Valley water tower in the distance and pass a green library sign, get into the left lane, slow down, and turn left at the sign that says, “Cherry Valley Village” (E. State Street.) Pass the orchard on the left and the Village Hall on the right. As you curve down the hill, the library will be on your left in the woods, marked by a prominent electronic signboard.
OR
From any of the north-south or east-west roads in southwest Boone Co. (Flora Church, Bloods Point, Poole, Bates, Wheeler, Irene, or Town Hall), drive to the Cherry Valley Road (turns into Genoa St) and proceed northwest until you reach the village limits. You will pass two right hand entrances to a newer subdivision. The next street will be Lawrence Street (no stop sign). Turn right and proceed two blocks until you come to a stop sign and a park on your left. Turn right onto E. State Street and proceed until the street curves a little past the Cherry Valley Garden Center. The library is on the right, back in the woods, marked by a prominent electronic signboard.
