The Digital Library of Illinois (powered by OverDrive) offers eBooks and eAudiobooks free with your library card. Read or listen to books on smartphones, tablets, computers, and eReaders, including Kindle, from the Digital Library of Illinois website or on mobile devices using the Libby app.

You are not required to create an account but you do need to sign in to the Digital Library of Illinois. On the Digital Library of Illinois main page, click the “Sign In” button located at the top right, then select Cherry Valley Public Library District from the library drop-down list and enter your library card and PIN. The PIN is the same number you use to access the online catalog. If you are using the Libby app, it will prompt you to choose your library and add your barcode and PIN as part of the setup process.

Browse the EBSCO Host eBook Collection for non-fiction and classic literature in electronic format. These books cannot be downloaded and can only be read through your internet web browser. Use your library card to access books from outside the library.
